Casual Atheism
I love it when I see casual atheism. By casual atheism, I mean someone just mentions it in the course of a discussion, not making a big deal out of it, and goes on to make their point.
Here's a fantastic case in point.
This is Tycho of Penny Arcade fame. He's quite the wordsmith most days, but occasionally he says something that just blows me away. And yes, I realize the above quote is not all that "casual", but follow the link and read the whole post. You'll get a better feel for what I mean.

Like other atheists, I can see some of the rookie mistakes in the "world building" God has done, by which I mean Jehovah, with his cryptozoological fascinations, underutilized themes, flat protagonists, and the prevalence of barbarism...

Bring On The Awesome!
The folks over at Penny Arcade are doing up three comics that are outside their usual style for the site, and leaving it up to us, the readers, to decide which of the three they continue to pursue. They haven't put out number three yet, but I already know which one I want them to develop.

New Webcomic! Yay!
I literally just stumbled across this while looking up something on the Diamond Distributors list. It's awesome.
I Was Kidnapped By Lesbian Pirates From Outer Space!
It's EXACTLY what you think it is, and its hilarious. Done in a faux 4-color style, it's not my usual cup of tea artistically, but it grows on you after a while. And the writing is just hilarious. The bumbling Male Man antagonist is perfect. It's going on my links bar for a long time to come, I think. So, go check it out.
